Increase the volume of liquid in the bottle, but does not affect the weight or number of moles of acid in the flask. So no impact on the results.
Although it is a little dilluting acid, not the amount of acid molecules present and therefore little or no effect on recovery. Usually Shake the bottle for the addition, so that the projection is washed automatically in the bulk solution and avoid having to wash the sides.
