My boyfriends father died long ago. We want to include in our wedding program, but are not sure of the wording and whether it is appropriate to label or not. Suggestions?

If anywhere listed the parents of the bride's invitations, programs, advertisements in newspapers should put the name of his father. just llike this list

If the mother has remarried, living
Ms. Jane Doe and the late Mr. John Doe

when her mother remarried:
Mr. and Mrs. James Smith and the late Mr. John Doe

It would be wiser, perhaps take a small part of the program and bring something to the effect of "We should (Groom name) deceased father (insert name here) remember our special day. We hope you have seen." That would be weak and soft.

Well, I'm not sure, sorry about the program.
But I know that many flowers, if the deceased would get to sit at the wedding. I think it is good to do if you do not already thought about this.

This is not funny. We are in the program and invites them to the late Jane Doe.
