In A Garage should the loor be poured before or after the walls are erected? - barn garage plans
I intend to build a few years ago, but could not answer this question. He hopes to build a pole barn style structure at the time! My idea was that in the pole barn would have been more effective to the ground before (especially now in North Carolina) to prevent further damage from termites. Thank you for your answers.

During the construction of polo stick, the stick into the ground. Contributions will be treated to prevent termite damage. I recommend that you put the sticks in the first place. Then use the poles as a guide for the design of the preparation of the concrete plant. Pour and finish the floor. Then lift the rest of the building poles, after the concrete hardens.

In a conventional garage, the floor is poured through the creation of a sidewalk on 3 sides of the wall. Previously it was thought that speech was made recently, but sometimes the floor would rise or fall on problems in the alley. Another "advantage" is that you have less of an issue of water in the soil, because they are part of the wall, and there is no seam. The combined ground, the right to walls to the support of the foundation wall, so there is less chance of the existence of the foundation problems with the ground.
